Craft Course - Introduction to Marquetry
Suitable for complete beginners.
This course is an introduction to the basic techniques of pictorial marquetry by the "Window" method. Students will cut hardwood veneers and assemble a marquetry design suitable for a coaster or similar item. Finishing and polishing will be discussed, but it may be necessary for the item to be completed after the course - either by the student or tutor.
